I warmly invite you to “An Evening of Philosophy and Film,” presented by Dr Laura D’Olimpio & Dr Richard Paul Hamilton.

It will be held Thursday 27th September 2012, 3.30-8.30pm in the Health Sciences Lecture Theatre (ND46/209), Notre Dame University, Fremantle.

COST - $10 waged, $5 unwaged.

At 3:30 Dr Laura D’Olimpio will introduce Midnight in Paris (2011) PG13 Directed by Woody Allen.

At 6pm, Dr Richard Hamilton will introduce Melancholia (2011) 18+, Directed by Lars von Trier.

This is going to be an informative and enlightening experience, so please join us!

Alan Saunders joined Radio National in 1987 and presented The Food Program, Screen, By Design and most recently The Philosopher’s Zone. His programs have always been popular with audiences, with The Philosopher’s Zone one of RN’s most frequently downloaded programs.

In order to encourage students' participation in the Colloquium, we will invite students to think about questions related to the themes of the Colloquium, write them down and put them into a question box. At the conclusion of the Colloquium, Panel members will address individual questions and discuss them with the audience.
